The brain drain to Verticals continues. The latest executive to cross over is Anna Zornosa, who is joining Dealix as EVP and GM. Dealix is Cobalt’s provider of sales leads to auto dealers.
Zornosa most recently ran Yahoo! personals and was previously CMO for Hilary Schneider at Knight Ridder Digital. Before that, she was a top executive with Topica (an email services provider), women.com and PointCast. She started her career as a reporter (and a real good one).
Zornosa is the second top executive to recently leave Yahoo! Marketplaces head Jennifer Dulski formally left the company yesterday.
