AT&T Launches YP.com as Webby Complement to Yellowpages.com

AT&T Interactive today launched a beta version of YP.com, a website that won’t be heavily promoted but will add cutting edge features to searches, such as expandable local maps in results, aggregated SMB content, and videos, coupons and other promotions. AT&T, Yahoo Team for Behavioral Targeted Display Ads

Yahoo is extending its local sales reach for its behavioral targeting-informed display ads, enlisting AT&T Interactive’s 5000+ sales reps. They will begin selling the “APT” branded- display ads later this summer to local businesses in more than 300 categories, along with Yellowpages.com, search packages, online video and other products. Idearc’s EveryCarListed.com Debuts ‘All Video’ Car Listings

EveryCarListed.com, a 25 person car portal quietly acquired by Idearc in February, has formally rolled out its new look-and-feel. ESPN Adding New Local Sites in 3 Major Markets

The New York Times reports that ESPN, after a successful launch of its local sports website concept in Chicago, is adding three more markets: New York, Los Angeles and Dallas. LAT49 Raises $1.5 Million

Lat49, which sells ads on online maps for over 120 websites, including Topix.net, Trails.com and others, announced that it has raised $1.5 million in Series A financing. Participation was lead by PenderFund Capital Management, with further participation from existing investors including Discovery Capital.
