Local Onliner Honored As a ‘Top 50′ Analyst Blog

Technobabble is out with its annual ranking of analyst blogs. I don’t always rank well in these types of analysis, probably because of my off-center focus on local media and services. Most analyst blogs are focused on hi tech.

But this year, the ranking system has been tweaked a little to deal with social media, and I am really pleased to rank in the Top 50…in fact, I am #33.

The ranking is assessed based on Google Page Rank (12), Yahoo Internet links (4.6), Google Inbound Links (5.7), Subscribers (12.8) and Twitter links, frequency, comments (11.9). There is always room for improvement, but this is great. Thank you, Technobabble!

  1. Peter –

Congratulations on being selected for a Top 50 award. You’re so understated, and not a blow hard that I’m thrilled to see good content winning out over link baiting.

You’re number one in my book. Have a great conference. Wish I could be there, but I’m cranking up for 2010.

    You rock!
