Streetfight’s promotions proclaim it the “Best Streetfight Summit ever.” It is taking place in The Weylin, a historic bank building two blocks from “The Sonny Rollins Bridge” in Williamsburg (note: there is a campaign to rename the Williamsburg Bridge.) And there’s pre-con bowling, too, at The Brooklyn Bowl.
The program has been built to represent the state of the art in “local,” with new research on SMBs from David Card, and sessions on bots and artificial intelligence; the rise of voice search; innovative retail solutions that combine ecommerce and brick-and-mortar; and industry consolidation. The event also features some tactical subjects, like SMB self-service and managing global expansion.
Many of the largest companies are represented at the show (Google, YP, Foursquare, etc.). Personally, we’re looking forward to chatting with executives at some of the fastest moving companies. For instance:
David Isbitski, Alexa and Echo, Amazon
Joe Bardenheier, Endurance International Group
Adam Burrows, Home Advisor
Ilir Sela, Slice
Chris Hughes, Revolution Growth
We’ll be there for the duration. Let us know if you want to get together, talk deals, etc. Peter at localonliner.com
