Tomorrow, we are officially taking the wraps off the program and initial speaker lineup for our B2SMB Summit, which is taking place Oct. 3-4 at two locations in Chicago’s Loop: 1871 and Revel Fulton Market.
We started working on the event early this spring. Dave Walker, chairman at bizHive and a longtime marketing leader, had constructed a blueprint for a brand new, never done before event that would focus exclusively on B2SMB – business to small and medium-sized business.
The event would focus on enterprise channels for selling and incorporating marketing solutions for SMBs – everyone from networking companies like Cisco to platforms like Web.com. On stage, we’d hear from the best leaders and companies in the space, and create a full networking event with dinners, receptions, speed dating etc. In all this, we’ve been helped by an advisory team that includes Randy Parker at Brevi; Consultant Mary Jane Thornburg; Doug Llewellyn at Purch (our lead partner in the event); and Kim Feil at bizHive.
Right out of the gate, we’ve seen that the demand for this conference is going to be high. We now expect to have over 30 hand-picked industry leaders on stage and several hundred attendees.
Here’s our current speaker lineup:

We are also doing an extensive interview series with the speakers — together, they really spell out what’s new and exciting in the B2SMB space. (We’ve already written about Lorem, DocuSign, LSA, DexYP, Dell, Boomtime and GoDaddy.) Watch for the next round of posts on LinkedIn and Facebook, and watch for a number of exclusive posts via our friends at Street Fight.
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in Chicago this fall.
