Perhaps no other tech vendor illustrates the power of the emerging B2SMB platform as much as DocuSign, the 14-year-old powerhouse that has expanded beyond e-signatures to digital transaction management and DocuSign Payments.
At The B2SMB Summit in Chicago Oct.3-4, Jeff Perry, DocuSign’s VP of Commercial Sales for SMB is set to hold forth on Building The Ultimate SMB Platform along with Microsoft O365’s Jerome Pache and LinkedIn’s Ryan Wilson. A second part of the session features Go Daddy CPO Steven Aldrich and Web.com’s Samuel Artmann. We are calling it “The Essential Panel.”
In a pre-conference discussion with us, Perry described how digital signatures have become a core feature for a wide range of SMBs and enterprise companies as well (such as Comcast Business). While the company’s e-signature service has become a real estate transaction standard, the company is “now working with everyone from tech startups to funeral homes to country clubs and everyone in between,” he says.
Business field services have emerged as especially important, including contractors, painters, alarm security companies and internal shade and window coverings. Perry says the company’s expansion into digital payments is a logical path for the company which sees itself “enabling fully digital workflows that save money, increase efficiency and move business forward.”
