Centro Buys ‘Real Cities’ Brand from McClatchy

Real Cities, the national ad network owned by McClatchy, has been sold to fast rising Centro. Or at least, the Real Cities brand has been sold, along with access to Real Cities’ list of 250 national advertisers. Gannett Buys ShopLocal; PointRoll CEO Comments

As first reported by us on July 3, Gannett has purchased the 52.5 percent of ShopLocal that it didn’t own from Tribune, which owned 42.5 percent, and McClatchy, which owned 15 percent. Gannett Buying ShopLocal Outright

We have learned that Gannett is acquiring the parts of ShopLocal that it doesn’t already own from partners Tribune and McClatchy.
